Kevin M Mason, CFSP - President
Kevin Mason has been the proud owner of the Kevin Mason Funeral Home since June 2008, a role he embraces with compassion and dedication. With a strong educational background, Kevin is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, the Simmons Institute of Funeral Service, and the Master’s International School of Divinity. He also holds the prestigious Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) designation, underscoring his commitment to providing excellent service and care to families during their most challenging times.
Beyond his professional life, Kevin is a deeply involved member of his community. At the Church of St Casimir, he is known for his service on the finance committee and was honored to be selected as a Knight by the priest, recognizing his devotion and leadership. Over the years he has volunteered his services for Bingo, Meat raffles and other fundraisers. Kevin’s community spirit extends far beyond his church. He is a regular volunteer at various food banks, always ready to lend a helping hand. Understanding the needs of his neighbors, Kevin helped establish the Kaisertown Clothing Renewal Drive, a project that provides much-needed winter clothing to local residents. He also co-chaired National Night out, an event that brings the community together to foster safer neighborhoods. In 2023, Kevin was able to inspire a group of volunteers to use their talents for Christmas in Kaisertown. A free event for the local community offering live music, food trucks, vendors/crafters, and Santa Claus - and is working hard to establish connections for a successful 2025 repeat event!
In addition to his work with people, Kevin has a big heart for animals. He started “Cody’s Gift” and initiative that collects essential items for local animal rescues and shelters, ensuring that our furry friends are well cared for, too.
Kevin Mason is a man who leads by example. His life is a testament to the power of community, compassion, and service. Whether he is comforting grieving families, volunteering at the food bank, or organizing a drive for those in need, Kevin embodies the spirit of giving. He inspires those around him to find ways to make a positive impact, reminding us all that we can make a difference in the lives of others.
